TÜV APPROVALS AND WARRANTY OPTIONS
TÜV INSPECTIONS AND VEHICLE APPROVAL
POGEA RACING has been registered with the German Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) as a vehicle and component manufacturer since 2006. We develop our performance upgrades and vehicle components in accordance with applicable technical, safety and legal requirements. TÜV inspections and approvals are offered exclusively at our facility in Friedrichshafen, Germany. Where an inspection is required and technically feasible for a particular modification, we coordinate the assessment with an authorized inspection organization. You will subsequently receive the necessary documentation for any required updates to your vehicle registration documents.
To protect our development work and prevent unauthorized use, we generally do not disclose internal technical reports, test results or development documentation. This does not affect any documentation or approval certificates required by law.
TÜV inspections are offered as an optional, paid service by prior arrangement. The scope and cost depend on the vehicle, modification and inspection requirements.
EC/EU TYPE APPROVALS AND INTERNATIONAL COMPLIANCE
For all deliveries outside Germany, the buyer is solely responsible for verifying and complying with the applicable legal requirements in the destination country, particularly regarding vehicle registration, roadworthiness approval, emissions, noise regulations and the use of purchased products. The buyer must independently obtain information about all national requirements, necessary approvals, inspections and registrations before purchasing and ensure compliance with them. POGEA RACING is under no obligation to verify or demonstrate the road legality or legal usability of products outside Germany or to provide foreign approval documentation unless expressly agreed in writing. POGEA RACING accepts no liability for products that cannot be legally approved or are used unlawfully in the respective destination country, to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory statutory liability claims and expressly agreed product characteristics and contractual obligations remain unaffected.
WARRANTY AND INSURANCE OPTIONS
Through our insurance partners, we can arrange supplementary warranty and repair cost insurance for standard and performance-enhanced vehicles, subject to the availability of suitable insurance plans. Depending on the vehicle, performance modification and applicable insurance terms, coverage may include components such as the engine, turbocharger, supercharger, and manual or automatic transmission. Insurance coverage, duration, eligibility requirements and costs are determined individually during a personal consultation. The terms and conditions of the respective insurer apply. Statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
