The Porsche 964 sits in that space. Analog enough to demand attention. Modern enough to reward precision. A car that never tried to be anything other than exactly what it is.
The PR964 begins with that understanding.
POGEA RACING, through its POGEA.classics division, introduces a comprehensive reinterpretation of the air-cooled Porsche 911 based on the Type 964. This is not a restoration. It is not a tribute. It is a deliberate rethinking of a platform that still has more to give.
THE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS
Every project starts with a complete teardown.
The donor car is stripped back to its original monocoque. Every component, every surface, every system is removed. What remains is not a car, but a starting point.
The chassis is chemically stripped and treated with a cathodic dip coating (KTL), restoring structural integrity while preparing it for the next phase. From here, the process shifts from restoration to development.
Proprietary scan data captures the geometry of the original structure. From that moment forward, nothing is assumed. Components are re-engineered, surfaces are redefined, and every decision is made with intent.
This is not about rebuilding what existed.
It is about defining what should exist.
ENGINE AND DRIVETRAIN
At its core, the PR964 is built around a flexible drivetrain philosophy.
Rather than a single fixed configuration, three distinct engine concepts are available, each designed to deliver a specific character while maintaining the integrity of the 964 experience.
The first is a naturally aspirated configuration. Immediate, linear, and uncompromisingly analog. It preserves the essence of the air-cooled flat-six in its most direct form.
The second introduces forced induction through a single-turbo setup. Increased power density meets controlled, usable performance, designed for drivers who want more without sacrificing balance.
The third is a twin-turbo configuration, engineered for maximum output and a more aggressive driving profile. It transforms the platform without disconnecting it from its origin.
Across all variants, the principle remains the same:
the drivetrain must feel native to the car. Not added. Not imposed. Integrated.
Each configuration is calibrated individually, ensuring that power delivery, response, and overall behavior align with the character of the vehicle.

SUSPENSION AND BRAKING
Performance is not defined by numbers alone.
The PR964’s suspension and braking systems are developed independently from the drivetrain to ensure a cohesive driving experience. A KW Clubsport coilover system provides the foundation, tuned for precision and feedback.
A large carbon-ceramic braking system delivers consistent stopping power under all conditions. Every component is engineered to ensure repeatability, not just peak performance.
BODYWORK AND MATERIALS
The PR964 does not imitate history.
It evolves it.
The body draws influence from Porsche’s Turbo lineage and the engineering logic of the 959, but it does not replicate them. Proportions are reworked, surfaces refined, and functionality made visible.
The widened stance is not aesthetic alone. Integrated air inlets, hand-formed into the rear quarter panels, manage cooling for both drivetrain and braking systems.
Carbon fiber components are developed entirely in-house. From digital modeling to tooling and final production, each part is created specifically for this vehicle.
The underbody is fully enclosed, transforming airflow into an active part of the vehicle’s performance.
INTERIOR
The interior is not a reproduction.
It is a reinterpretation.
Materials are selected and combined with intent. Leather from different automotive origins, Alcantara, and carbon fiber surfaces create a space that feels familiar, but sharper.
Technology is present, but restrained. It supports the experience without overwhelming it.
The goal is simple:
not to make the car feel new, but to make it feel right.
PERSONALIZATION
No two PR964 builds are identical.
Each car is developed in direct collaboration with its owner. Driving style, intended use, and individual preference define the final specification.
This is not configuration.
It is co-development.
TESTING AND DEVELOPMENT
Every system in the PR964 is validated through a structured development process.
Engine development is conducted in collaboration with specialized partners, including EGMO in Switzerland. Powertrains are tested and calibrated on both internal and external dynamometers to ensure consistent performance, thermal stability, and long-term durability.
Suspension development is carried out with KW Automotive. Test rigs and real-world validation ensure precise response and predictable behavior across all conditions.
Paint and bodywork follow strict quality standards. In close collaboration with Glasurit, the coating process is engineered for durability, consistency, and surface precision.
Development is iterative. Components are tested, refined, and, if necessary, redesigned until they meet defined criteria. The result is a vehicle that performs not only as a one-off, but as a platform for future builds.

Specification, scope, and execution are defined individually. The vehicle serves as a foundation, not a fixed product.
